16 Row Pull Type
Simply load a seed company bulk seed box container directly onto the Yield-Pro planter and start planting -- it's that easy. These bulk boxes hold 50 (80,000 kernels) units of seed or approximately 42 bu., or if you don't have access to these bulk seed boxes, simply attach the optional 82 bushel poly bulk hopper. The Yield-Pro planter also offers an optional 400-gallon starter fertilizer system.
The patented air manifold delivers seed on demand to the row unit meters without any moving parts; increasing reliability while decreasing maintenance costs. On the row unit, interchangeable precision finger-pickup meters or Singulator-Plus Meters accurately singulate the seed for precise spacing. A variety of row spacing options are available for the Yield-Pro Planter which include 30", 20", 15", Twin-Row 30", and Twin-Row 36" spacing that can be harvested with a 30" or 36" corn head. Other options include: variable rate hydraulic drive, Keeton seed firmers, Seed-Lok, 400 gallon starter fertilizer system, frame mounted coulters, unit mounted coulters and/or row cleaners.
Other features include:
- Telescoping Tongue retracted in the field, enhancing maneuverability on headlands.
- Using seed companies bulk box with treated seed keeps operator safer than breathing treatment dust when filling individual hoppers.
- No planted rows are run over on 20", 30" or twin-row models. Only 2 rows are run over on 15" spacing, unlike competitors who run over 4 to 6 rows on their 15" models. *
- Unobstructed front and rear access to all row units regardless of spacing.
- All seed and fertilizer weight is carried on the large radial tractor tires insuring that all row units plant the same regardless of whether or not the bulk hopper is full or empty.
